·        If you are interested in adopting a cat or kitten, we will pay you a visit to carry out an informal home check.  We will discuss relevant issues such as vaccinations, other pets in the household and of course, which cats would be suitable for you and your home. It also gives you a chance to ask us any questions you may have.

·        If your home check is successful, we will then then bring out the cat to see you.  If you and the cat are happy, we will leave it with you for a trial period before you officially adopt.

·        If, after the trial period the cat has settled in, gets on with the members of the household and you are happy with it, then we will carry out a follow up visit.  Here, we will complete the adoption form* and accept a donation fee** from you.  After the adoption, adopters are always welcome to contact us for advice.

·        If the cat in question is not suitable, then we will take it back.  We may be able to try out a more suitable cat for you.

* The adoption fee is £45.

** The adoption form is a contract signed by both parties which states certain conditions which the adopter must abide by when adopting a Feline Friends cat.  (For example, seeking veterinary treatment when necessary).
